About Restoration 1 of Minnetonka

Since its inception, owner Steve Elliott has led Restoration 1 of Minnetonka. Growing up in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, Steve knows the area like the back of his hand. A true local at heart, Steve went to school in Wayzata, bought his first house in Plymouth, and his daughter was born at North Memorial in Robbinsdale.

Steve was a firefighter and EMT with the City of Plymouth. He says that owning his own restoration company reminds him of being on the fire department and working as part of a team. Together with his team, they thrive in the exciting and fast-paced environment of restoration services. "Every day is different when providing emergency services," says Steve.

At Restoration 1 of Minnetonka, each technician undergoes extensive and ongoing education. Steve and the technicians attend IICRC-certified courses to earn their certifications in water restoration, fire restoration and smoke and odor control. Using that knowledge and experience in the field is where it all comes together!

When Steve is not working on property damage jobs, you can find him, Britta, Madi and Will enjoying the outdoors, going on hikes and bike rides. When it's time for a much-deserved break, Steve and his family are on one of the beautiful Minnesota lakes. We love to get out on the water and ski or wake surf with the kids.
